Christina and her husband Bradd live in San Marcos, CA. Christina was one of EntoBento’s earliest Kickstarter Backers and is the proud mother of three beautiful dogs with fantastic names: Dr. Spencer Grayson, Captain Awesome and Simba Dininja. An interesting fact about Christina, as it relates to EntoBento, is that she does NOT like crickets….at all. When she was younger she had to feed her pet leopard gecko crickets and she developed a fear of them. One time, one got loose in the house and it startled her so much that she jumped through and broke a glass door!
TELL US A STORY ABOUT THE “TINY TERRIER TERRORS”
The three dogs, known as the “Tiny Terrier Terrors” have very independent and wild personalities that compliment each other perfectly. They have the chemistry of a perfect team, which can sometimes lead to mischief.
For example, "The Terrors love to play with empty peanut butter jars." Dr. Spencer Grayson is 2 and a half year old a Toy Manchester Terrier with high energy and a love for solving puzzle toys. When he figured out how to open the pantry door Captain Awesome, a 10 year old Mini Jack Russell Terrier, and Simba DiNinja, a 1 and a half year old Chihuahua / Rat Terrier, hopped onto the shelves to get to the peanut butter jars they love so much. In looking for the jars, the three broke into a box of hot cocoa powder and dragged the packets all over the house. Stomach aches followed later that night and now the pantry has child locks on it.
WHAT IS YOUR STANCE ON NUTRITION FOR YOUR TERRIERS?
"All of my dogs have some type of special food needs. For example, Spencer has a sensitive stomach, and is prone to acid reflux." Challenged to find treats that meet the special needs of all three dogs, Christina was pleased to find that EntoBento’s ingredients satisfy them all!
WHY DID YOU BACK ENTOBENTO?
"A dog treat that uses great ingredients that my dogs can eat AND they kill crickets to do it? That's a win win."
